LENT BEGINS ON ASH WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2021. Lent is a special period of 40 days of prayer, penance, sacrifice and good works in preparation for the celebration of the Paschal Mystery – the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. This holy season is meant to renew our faith, to increase our generosity in spiritual and corporal works of mercy. It is a time when we try to perform extra spiritual works, like attending daily Mass, making the Stations of the Cross, offering a weekly holy hour before the Blessed Sacrament, or taking time for personal prayer and spiritual reading.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS! “BELOVED, LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER, FOR LOVE IS GOD.” John 4:7a
