THERE WILL BE PRIVATE MASSES IN THE CHAPEL FOR THE INTENTION OF THE DAY. THESE MASSES ARE CLOSED. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO ATTEND DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS.

CANDLEMAS DAY Candles are blessed at Mass to remind us that CHRIST IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. We take blessed candles to our homes to spread Christ’s light to our whole family. Due to the pandemic Candlemas Day will be celebrated when the church reopens on February 13, 2021 instead of February 2, 2021.

The FEAST OF SAINT BLAISE will also be celebrated on February 13, 2021. St. Blaise, martyred bishop of Armenia, patron of those suffering diseases and blessing of the throat. Through the intercession of St. Blaise, bishop and martyr, may God deliver you from every disease of the throat and from every other illness in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
