NIAWEN:KOWA FROM INDIAN TIME

The year 2020 has been a challenging year.... but through it all, every one of you have kept us going. We’d like to thank every subscriber, reader, our contributors, our leadership on every side and the departments who bought space on our pages, our distributors, even thoughtful people who sent us food and snacks, and great words of encouragement to remind us of what a great community we have to live in. Let us not forget our precious advertisers here in Akwesasne and surrounding areas who stuck with us during these trying times. There are many others to thank....and some who, sadly, are no longer with us but lit the flame in our hearts who were examples for us to follow. As we strive to keep our heads up and support one another, let us continue to show strong community spirit which defines what Akwesasne is. May we remember who created us and how his guidance can keep us looking forward to a more positive outlook for the year 2021.
