Troopers still looking for leads in unsolved 2002 murder

WESTVILLE - State Police are still looking for leads in an unsolved 2002 Westville murder.

Marie H. Fleury, 64, of 3835 State Route 37 was found murdered in her home on Oct. 17, 2002.

She was last seen by her husband, Robert Jay Fleury, around 4:15 p.m. that day when he left

their residence and went to Le Cordon Bleu Tavern in nearby Trout River. He found her dead when he returned home around 7:30 p.m. An autopsy revealed that Fleury died of blunt force trauma to the head.

A $16,000 reward remains available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Marie Fleury's death.

State police ask anyone with information to contact their Violent Crime Investigation Unit in Ray Brook at (518) 897-2000.
