In the stillness of that holy night, the angels’ song of praise was heard, announcing the birth of Jesus. Like the shepherds, may we be filled with wonder, attentive to Jesus’ presence in our lives. Like the Magi, may the shining star lead us to follow Jesus. May our hearts be filled with His love and peace, so we may be a blessing to others.

FOOD PANTRY

Anyone who needs food from the Parish Food Pantry for the holidays is invited to phone the Rectory, Wednesday to Friday mornings, 9 AM to Noon, 613-575-2753 for help. Thank you to all the generous donors!

THE CHRISTMAS PRAYER

Hail and blessed be the hour and the moment when the Son of God was born of the purest Virgin Mary at midnight, in Bethlehem in the piercing cold. In that hour, vouchsafe, O my God to hear my prayer and grant my desires through the merits of my Savior Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother Mary. Amen.
