BAPTISM

Remember the utmost importance of the reception of the Sacrament of Baptism in our spiritual life. “Baptism not only purifies from all sins, but also makes the neophyte ‘a new creature’, an adopted son of God, who has become ‘a partaker of the divine nature’, member of Christ … and a temple of the Holy Spirit.” (CCC#1265)

Father Jerome Pastores baptizes at the 10 AM Mass on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Call the rectory at 613-575-2753 for an interview with him, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9 AM to 1 PM.

NEW REGISTRATIONS

We begin now to accept new registrations of other children desiring to receive First Holy Communion in the coming year. Please complete the registration form, either at St. Regis Mission Rectory on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday between 9 AM and 1 PM or at the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Center on Wednesday, Thursday mornings from 9 to Noon. DEATH

Every time we recite the Apostle’s Creed, we end with the words “I believe in the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.”

Who will rise? “All the dead will rise, “those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.” Are you ready?
