FORT COVINGTON. The Salmon River Shamrocks boys soccer team recently recognized a dozen seniors who will graduate this year.
They paused during a recent game to applaud Gavin Cook-Avery, Zach Durant, Owen Gray, Stone Chubb, Connor Lewis and John Miller.
Also recognized were Donovan Lauzon, Briley Ransom, Eric Mitchell, Levi Pyke, Jared Showen and PJ Ghostlaw.
The Shamrocks, along with the rest of Section 10, are playing an abbreviated 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with the shorter schedule, players are required to wear face masks on the field, and attendance at games is being restricted to two family members per player.
