ST. REGIS MOHAWK TRIBAL POLICE:

• On Oct. 9, Trevan R. David, 19, of Akwesasne, Ont. was charged with passing in a no-pass zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Nov. 5.

On Oct. 9, Scott O. Kimble, 27, of Massena was charged with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Oct. 27.

• On Oct. 10, Jasmine S. David, 24, of Akwesasne, Quebec was charged with speeding (51-35 mph zone). Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 22.

• On Oct. 10, Lalen T. Phillips, 27, of Hogansburg was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 22.

• On Oct. 10, Tesha M. Rourke, 28, of Akwesasne, Ont. was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Nov. 5.

• On Oct. 10, Sherynn R. Chrysler, 30, of Akwesasne, Ont. was charged with unlicensed operation and speeding (51-35 mph zone). Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Nov. 5.

• On Oct. 10, Dallas Caldwell, 45, of Hogansburg was charged with speeding (57-35 mph zone). Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 22.

• On Oct. 11, Gerald S. Lord, 31, of Saranac Lake was charged with unregistered motor vehicle. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Oct. 22.

• On Oct. 11, Jonathan M. Drew, 40, of Malone was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and obstructed view. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Oct. 27.

• On Oct. 13, Debra J. McGregor, 57, of Brasher Falls was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and obstructed view. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Oct. 27.

• On Oct. 13, Tia Rose G. Stephenson, 26, of Massena was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on Oct. 27.

• On Oct. 13, Charlene A. Thompson, 38, of Hogansburg was charged with speeding (49-35 mph zone). Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Nov. 5.

• On Oct. 15, Phillip T. Dishaw, 50, of Winthrop was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and obstructed view. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Nov. 3.

• On Oct. 15, Aaron S. Loran, 55, of Hogansburg was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Nov. 5

MASSENA VILLAGE POLICE:

• Brandon Brandly, 44, of Hogansburg was picked up on a bench warrant at 9:05 a.m. Sept. 9 at the St. Lawrence County Probation Department, Harrowgate Commons.

Wanita M. Swamp, 55, of Hogansburg was charged with petit larceny at 3:13 p.m. Sept. 23 at Walmart Supercenter.

CORNWALL COMMUNITY POLICE

• Breanne Thompson, 31, of Akwesasne was arrested on October 18th, 2020 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on October 18th, 2020, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol when she attended the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and took the woman into custody. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 29th, 2020.

• On October 16th, 2020 at approximately 3:20 pm, the Cornwall Police Service (CPS), along with the Cornwall Fire Department and Cornwall SDG Paramedic Services, responded to a report of a body in the St. Lawrence River. The body of a male was located by emergency services in the St. Lawrence River, in the area of 200 Water Street, and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The next of kin have been notified and out of respect for the family, the identity of the deceased person is not being released. The CPS can confirm that no foul play is suspected and there is no threat to public safety. Investigators are currently working in partnership with the Regional Coroner’s Office to continue the investigation.

On the morning of October 10th, 2020, the Cornwall Police Service (CPS) began conducting an investigation into found human remains that were located in a wooded area north of Tollgate Road, between Brookdale Avenue and Pitt Street.

The CPS has been working in conjunction with the Regional Coroner’s Office to conduct the investigation and is now able to confirm the identity of the deceased to be missing person, Crystal Keeler.

As a result of the investigation, the death has been determined to not be suspicious in nature. The next of kin have been notified by police.

The CPS would like to thank the public for their patience and assistance with this investigation. The Regional Coroner’s Office will be continuing their investigation.
