SALARY LEVEL: HS 08 ST2 $41,829.29

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Maternal and Child Health Service Supervisor, the incumbent provides visitation services to pregnant women and families with children age 0-6 years. Using a strength-based approach, the family home visitor develops family focused service plans that facilitate the improvement of parenting skills and improved family wellness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-Secondary education in Early Childhood Development, Social Service Worker or Teacher’s Aide

OR

• Post-Secondary education in a Health-related field with

• Two (2) years’ experience working with children and families

AND

• Must be able to sew traditional wear.
