SLC Health Dept Releases Notice of Potential COVID-19 Exposure

Three business in Massena, NY have been identified as a place of ‘potential exposure of COVID-19.’

The businesses are:

Angel Nails 287 Leslie Rd, Massena, NY 13662

JCPenney at St. Lawrence Centre Mall, 6100 Mall Road, Massena, NY 13662

Maurices at St. Lawrence Centre Mall, 6100 Mall Road, Massena, NY 13662

Patrons who visited Angel’s Nails on August 22, 2020 between 12 pm and 2 pm, and JCPenney or Maurices between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm in Massena at the above locations have a potential risk of exposure to COVID-19.

SLC Dept of Health notice stated, “If you believe you were present at any of these locations on August 22nd between 12 pm and 3:30 pm, it is recommended that you be tested for COVID-19. Please monitor your temperature twice a day for 14 days. Call your healthcare provider for further guidance if you develop the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea. Tell your provider that you may have been exposed to COVID-19.”
