CKON to Rebroadcast 1995 Presidents Cup Championship Game

The year was 1995 and the Akwesasne Thunder hometown team earned the right to play for Presidents Cup Gold.

With the cancellation of most of our local lacrosse leagues this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CKON invites you to take a walk back in time and listen to the 1995 Presidents Cup Gold Medal Game which was played in Prince George, British Columbia between the Akwesasne Thunder and the Burnaby Lakers and was broadcast live on CKON Radio.

Listen to the Legends of Yesteryear and join CKON for this encore presentation of Presidents Cup Senior B Championship lacrosse. CKON will re-air this classic game on Thursday, May 28 at 4:00 PM and again Sunday, May 31 at 6:00 PM.
