Bonfire and Legends by the Fire took place on a bitter cold Friday evening.

The "29th" Akwesasne Winter Carnival was held in Tsi Snaihne with the Snye Recreation Committee as gracious hosts. While most events took place at the Syne Recreation Center, events were held at Kana:takon School, St. Regis Mohawk School, the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino and Resort and various other venues in Akwesasne. This year's carnival ran from Thursday, February 13th to Sunday, February 16th.
This year's winter carnival was made possible by 'super cool' volunteers, Mohawk Council of Akwesasne and programs, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe and programs, CKON Community Fund, Snye Recreation Committee, Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club and many more.
Now, who isn't looking forward to the 30th Akwesasne Winter Carnival 2021.
