FAMILY HOME VISITOR-HEALTHY BABIES HEALTHY CHILDREN

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Maternal and Child Health Service Supervisor, the incumbent provides visitation services to families with children prenatal to age 6. The primary focus is providing services in the home to clients consenting to services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-Secondary education in Early Childhood Development, Social Service Worker or Teacher’s Aide; OR

• Post-Secondary education in a health-related field.

• Two (2) years’ experience working with children and families;

• Must be able to sew traditional wear.
