The Salmon River Shamrocks and Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils recognized their referees during their Friday, Jan. 17 game.
The captains of the teams applauded their refs, Steve Ansari and Brian Gale, to mark Officials Appreciation Week, SRC Coach Shawn Martin said.
The two officials posed for a photo with the captains of both teams: Kamea Thomas and Meg Martin from Salmon River, and Hailey Reed, Riley Hough, Gabrielle Morley, Emily Farrand and Celia Henry from OFA.
The Blue Devils went on to win the game 67-16.
