Recently our families suffered the loss of our beloved companion, beloved stepfather, beloved grandfather, beloved brother, beloved uncle and great uncle, beloved godfather, beloved cousin and friend to many. John “Neil” Laughing will forever have a place in our hearts.

When we experienced the passing of Neil many people stepped up to the plate and assisted us during this time. Beloved family and friends who came and sat with us at the hospitals, your comfort was overwhelming.

We’d like to express special thanks to the following individuals: Brendon, Bruce and staff of Donaldson’s Funeral Home, Sister Christine for leading us in prayer, Ashlyn Lazare for beautiful winter arrangement, Rachel Lazare and staff of 37 West for the comfort meal, Mike Swamp for the Ironworkers’ Eulogy, Barbara Montour for being our voice, Seaway Valley Ambulance Service, Alice Hyde Hospital, Malone, and CVP Hospital in Plattsburgh. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for Neil.

And, thank you to our immediate and extended family members for helping us get through our loss.
