Strand Center looking for artist work

Strand Center for the Arts is looking for artists to exhibit in our Off-Site Gallery Program for the 2019-2020 year!

Artists can apply for either a half show (12 pieces) or a full show (20 pieces) – 2D work only! Each gallery features a different exhibition/artist and runs for three months, with a total of four shows a year. An artist may choose to apply for up to four shows a year: January, February, March | April, May, June | July, August, September, and/or October, November, December.

Artists of all mediums are encouraged to apply. All work must be framed and ready to be hung at the start of each quarter. Exhibition hanging dates will be coordinated by the Strand Center for the Arts. Some Off-Site businesses will sponsor opening receptions. At least 50% of artwork exhibited at Off-Site Galleries must be for sale. (All sales will be handled through the Strand Center, with a 70/30 split between artists and the Strand Center for the Arts.)
