Thunder and End of Season Ceremony

The Mohawk Nation Council of Chiefs, Clan Mothers and Faithkeepers announce that Thunder (Ratiweras) and End of Season (Ohonnatkennho’kten) Ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 10:00am.

The Ratiweras Ceremony will start at 10:00am. Please bring candy, fruit, or tobacco to offer the Thunders for doing their duties that the Creator has asked them to do here on earth.

After Ratiweras is done, we will go right into Ohonnatkennho’kten giving our thanks and appreciation for bringing another cycle of ceremonies for all of creation here on earth.

Please bring corn soup, strawberries, maple syrup, and bread for the people and dancers and singers for giving their appreciation for Ratiweras and foods prepared from the garden for end of season.
