7th Annual Winter Wonderland Craft & Vendor Show is your one stop holiday shopping spot!

The Emmaus Soup Kitchen pinches every penny to stretch it as far as we can to help those from across the North Country! Our main fundraiser of the year is coming up in a few short weeks. The 7th Annual Winter Wonderland Craft & Vendor Show to benefit The Emmaus Soup Kitchen will be held on Saturday, December 14th at Davis Elementary School, 183 Webster Street, Malone from 9:00--3:00. The day will consist of 130+ crafters, artisans & vendors spanning from Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Franklin, Clinton & Essex counties as well as those traveling from Vermont, & Canada. Plus, we have Selfies with Santa and a talented face painter for the kids to enjoy! We’ll have beautiful handcrafted items perfect for holiday gift giving! A delicious lunch sale of homemade soups, chili, hotdogs, etc. will be served, and sweet treats at our bake sale. We are planning for a huge Chinese auction, 50/50 & more!

“This is the soup kitchen’s lifeline event in a sense, the success of this show keeps the doors open every Tuesday for our lunch meal,” said Organizer Aimee Marshall.

The soup kitchen has been open in Malone since February 1992, serving a hot, nutritious lunch to patrons from across the North Country. People don’t realize we rely on this event heavily as money raised goes directly to food ingredients, paper products, weekly rent at our venue and insurance. The soup kitchen does not get any monetary aid from federal, state or local governments or receive any grants! We count on this fundraiser and community donations when they are happily received! We rely on the kindness of the community to come out and support this event and you’re sure to have a great time! The products people are selling are unique and there is definitely something for everyone on your shopping list! From jewelry to home decor to ornaments to wooden items & more! Help us to pay it forward and help the patrons from across the North Country that rely on this organization. Hope to see you there!
