Massena applauds seven senior members of Raiders swim team

The Massena Raiders varsity swim team on Friday, Oct. 18 paid tribute to seven outgoing senior members of the swim team.

Swimmers among the Class of 2020 are Peyton Brown, Rowan Mayette, Gabrielle Thomas, Madison Cusworth, Riley Pratt, Callie Dow and Jordan Stiles.

They were each given a few minutes to speak about their favorite swim team memories prior to the start of their final home game of the season against Potsdam. Massena won 61-33.

The team used the game as an opportunity to raise funds for a breast cancer charity. They collected donations from spectators and garnered just over $200 in donations.

They also ditched their traditional red swim caps and wore pink caps instead.
