Invitation for Sealed Bids

Iohahi:io Akwesasne Education and Training Institute will be accepting sealed bids for the following items:

9000 lb. Car Lift (minimum bid $500)

Tire Changer (minimum bid $250)

Wheel Balancer (minimum bid $250)

Sealed bids will be accepted until Kentènha/October 25, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.

CONDITIONS OF BIDDING

BIDS: Only one bid per envelope. Each bid shall be in a sealed envelope. Envelope shall be clearly marked with words, “SEALED BID”. Each bid envelope shall be received at the address listed on the advertisement by 4:00 p.m. of the bid closing date.

ITEM CONDITION: All items advertised by Iohahi:io Akwesasne Education and Training Institute for sale by bid are to be sold As-Is. Iohahi:io will strive to make its best effort to assist interested parties in obtaining information about each item for sale; however, Iohahi:io makes no warranty of the condition of the equipment nor accuracy of the item description. Each bidder(s) shall be responsible for verifying condition and accuracy of item description prior to submitting a bid, and bring it to Iohahi:io Trades Coordinator, Ronnie Lazore’s attention and discrepancy found.

TERMS OF SALE: The successful bidder shall be provided with a verbal phone call of award within 7 working days after bid closing date. The successful bidder shall make full payment with cash or cashier’s check made payable to Iohahi:io Akwesasne Education and Training Institute and shall arrange to pick up their item within 10 business working days from the date of the notice of the award.

DEFAULT OF SALE: Any item not paid for within the timeline provided shall forfeit their claim to the item. Any item not picked up within the timeline provided shall forfeit their claim to the item, and payment for the item may be retained, in whole or in part, by Iohahi:io for damages. If bidder forfeits claim to any item bid, Iohahi:io may, at its discretion, offer the item to the next highest bidder.

IOHAHI:IO RIGHTS: Iohahi:io may indicate a minimum bid amount, or elect not to set a minimum bid amount. Iohahi:io retains the right to remove items offered for sale at any time up to the notice of the award, should Iohahi:io determine the sale of the item is not in its best interest. Iohahi:io reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any irregularities or defects found therein.
