Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club Hires Major Gifts Director

(AKWESASNE- July 23, 2019) The Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club is happy to announce that Alexandra David has accepted the position of Major Gifts Director effective July 22, 2019. The Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club formed a capital committee four years ago with the goal of raising funds to build a new ABGC Club facility. The Major Gifts Director would help identify and cultivate current and new relationships in hopes of securing funding for the ABGC Capital Project.

Alexandra David, Mohawk/Cree, is an enrolled member of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe. Most recently she served as Program Coordinator for Spirit Aligned Leadership Program, overseeing the daily interweaving of complex elements of operations and activities. Mrs. David is a high-capacity entrepreneur with a background in business and non-profit operations, as well as an education in accounting and employment relations. She has over two decades of experience in project management and organizational support. Prior to launching an interior design consultancy, Alexandra served an administration role with International Funders for Indigenous Peoples, a global donor affinity organization.

Mrs. David lives in Akwesasne, a Mohawk border territory along the shores of the St. Lawrence River near Cornwall, Ontario. She and husband Jason have raised children Nolan, Mitchell and Hadley together.
