The last and final event for Akwesasne Wellness Week was the Carnival Craze, hosted by SRMT's Social Service Division on Thursday, July 11th. Community members were invited to bring their families out to enjoy some fun carnival style games, free food, free haircuts, and many great prizes. The event was a huge hit with the youth and the young at heart, who tried their luck at all the fun activities. Although the event came to an early close, due to strong winds and rain, everyone was sure to leave with a smile.
