Free Hernia Screening Clinics Held Monthly at MMH

In honor of Hernia Awareness Month, Massena Memorial Hospital would like to remind the community that free Hernia Screening Clinics are held at the hospital each month. A hernia is a condition where a person has part of their organ protruding through an opening in the surrounding muscle wall. The National Center for Health Statistics estimates that roughly five million Americans have a hernia; however, many go without treatment.
