Salmon River softball honors five outgoing senior players

The Salmon River Lady Shamrocks on Friday, May 17 honored their five players who will graduate this year.

Arielle Benedict, #23, is finishing her first varsity season. She plans to attend North Country Community College for a fine arts degree. Her favorite softball memory is falling in the mud during practice. Her parents are Heather and Sam Benedict.

Mikaylee Henhawk, #22, is playing her first varsity season. She plans to study in the pre-physical therapy program at Neumann University. Her favorite softball memory is the shutout victory over Malone this season. Her parents are Rob and Dana Henhawk.

Morgan Arquette, #1, is a two-year member of the team. She plans to attend SUNY Potsdam and study nursing with a minor in music. Her favorite team memory is bus parties with Karli and Justice. Her parents are Robin and Lane Arquette.

Shaylin Herne, #15, is finishing her second season with the varsity squadron. She plans to attend SUNY Potsdam with a major in early childhood education and a minor in music. Her favorite softball memory is laughing with the team at almost anything. Her parents are Belson and Theresia Herne.

Jazzy Dunn, #25, is also in her second varsity season. She plans to attend Sage Colleges of Albany with a major in public health and a minor in theater production. Her parents are Angela Benedict, Dale Charleston and Randy Dunn.
