Tsiionkwanonhsote welcomed some special visitors on Wednesday May 15th. Employees of the Akwesasne Mohawk Police made their way to Tsiionkwanonhsote during lunch time, to help serve lunch to the residents.
"The staff of Tsiionkwanonhsote put together a big meal every month, where the resident council decides what they would like to eat. It's a way to celebrate all of the birthdays during the current month, staff and residents are all included.", said Mr. Leaf, who works in the kitchen. "So, we are happy to have the help. By the AMPS serving the food, it gives staff the time to sit down and help the residents eat, because some are unable to feed themselves."
