The Native North American Travelling College Board of Directors is looking for a Cultural Educator that will promote Haudenosaunee and/or Kanienkehaka culture that presents the uniqueness of our traditional culture and ways.

The Cultural Educator will report to the Manager and is expected to work collaboratively with all staff of the NNATC.

He/she must possess the following:

• Demonstrate knowledge of the traditional culture and traditions.

• Assist in song and dance and cultural presentations.

• Assist in cultural workshops throughout the community.

• Assist with tours in the museum and grounds.

• Assist in developing culturally themed materials for public information and education purposes.

• Assist all staff in other NNATC projects.

• Be able to do power point presentations with cultural material.

Candidate must also possess:

• Minimum high school graduate.

• Mohawk speaker definite asset.

• Good public speaking skills.

• Good writing and computer skills.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Available evenings and weekends.
