Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service will be conducting lockdown drill training exercises in local schools

(April 29, 2019) The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service will be conducting lockdown drill training exercises at our three district schools; Kana:takon School, Tsi Snaihne School, and the Akwesasne Mohawk School next week.

The purpose of the lockdown drill training exercise is to equip teachers, staff, and students with the proper education, training, and responsiveness in case of an emergency.

The lockdown training exercise is anticipated to last approximately 20 minutes and will be initiated at 9:00AM on the following dates:

1. May 6, 2019 - Tsi Snaihne School

2. May 8, 2019 - Akwesasne Mohawk School

3. May 9, 2019 - Kana:takon School

Akwesasne Central Dispatch will also be notifying programs in the area of this training exercise. Please have your children to school on time to participate in this training event.
