Nidia DeArmayero Earns 2019 NJCAA Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

Recently, the 2019 NJCAA women's lacrosse player of the week was won by Nidia DeArmayero. Nidia played lacrosse for North Franklin as an eight year old for one season and hasn't played again until now. The North Country Community College Coach knew Nidia from soccer season (All-Conference player) and asked if she played lacrosse. Nidia had thrown the ball around with her sisters and brother but that was about it until she decided to pick up the stick and play for her college team. Her competitive spirit and her athletic ability proved to be enough to have won this award. We are very proud of Nidia not only for her athletic ability but for her academic excellence and will continue to watch her achieve amazing things!
