KERRY MARIE MONTOUR

AKWESASNE- Kerry Marie Montour, 57, of 419 Roosevelt Road, peacefully passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Malone.

Kerry was born on September 27, 1961, in Massena, daughter of late Thomas and Katherine Cecilia (Laughing) Montour. She was a graduate of Salmon River Central School, and attended BOCES in Malone, and Adirondack Cooking School.

Kerry belonged to the Mohawk Nation Longhouse. She was a housekeeper, working for the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe and All-In-Pizza. More recently, she was volunteering for the St. Regis Mohawk Senior Citizens assisting with Meals on Wheels delivery. She enjoyed riding her three-wheeled bicycle, reading horror books, crossword puzzles, bingo, bowling, and playing solitaire on her computer. She treasured her time visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her five sisters, Martha Ann Lickers; Helen Elizabeth Edwards; Sandra Mary Terrance; Anita Jayne and Carl Mitchell of Tsi Snaihne; and Margaret I. Montour; and three brothers, Michael Martin Montour; Anthony James Montour; and Kevin I. Montour.

Kerry was predeceased by her mother and father, Thomas and Katherine; and her brother Thomas Montour, Jr.

Friends called at the home of her sister Sandra Terrance from Tuesday until Thursday. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, at 11:00 AM at the Mohawk Nation Longhouse with burial to follow in Solomon Road Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Kerry's memory to the St. Regis Mohawk Senior Citizens.
