POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Center Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the development and provision of nutritional meals and snacks for young children that are consistent with Canada’s Food Guide to healthy eating.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;

• Five (5) years’ work experience in preparing a recognized course for institutional cooking and completed a Food Handler and Sanitation Course or willing and able to do so;

• Knowledge of nutritional food guides for children;

• Must be an effective team player;

• Willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment;

• Valid driver’s license.
