THIS WEEKEND – BLESSING OF CANDLES-BLESSING OF THROATS: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2019 we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, Candlemas Day. Candles may be purchased before Mass and they will be blessed during the Liturgy. SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2019 is the Feast of St. Blaise, the patron saint of throat illnesses. Father Jerome will be blessing throats after the weekend Masses.

THE TRAVELING FAMILY ROSARY: During the week of January 20, 2019, the Family of Louise Cook offered the daily Rosary. This week the family of Beatrice Lazore will be offering the Rosary daily, especially for Families of St. Regis – their intentions, their sick, their deceased, their unity in love and for priestly and religious vocations. Have you signed up yet for the week this year when your family will have the Traveling Family Rosary to offer for families of our parish? The calendar is on the table at the back of the church.

WELCOME TO OUR FAITH COMMUNITY! Welcome to RAWEREN WILLIAM HERNE who was baptized on Sunday, January 20th at the 10 o’clock mass. Congratulations to his parents, grandparents, godparents, and all those who braved the snow storm to come to Holy Mass at the St. Regis Mission Church to offer prayers for this newly baptized Child of God.

We pray for the families who grieve over the loss of loved ones. Eternal rest grant unto Mary Ellen Jackson, Woodrow Cook, Phyllis Terrance, Isabel McDonald and Denise White, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

EVERY SUNDAY: AT THE 10 AM MASSES IN THE CHURCH: CHILDREN’s Liturgy of the Word (Sacristy).
