Salmon River senior forward Cameron Cartier was among the all-tournament team named at the conclusion of the Shamrocks' Boys Varsity Christmas Tournament hosted at Tom Cavanaugh Arena over the weekend of Dec. 14 and 15.
The team also included tournament MVP Jack Randall from the Queensbury Spartans, and his teammates Brayden Ordway and Trevor Vogel. Also, on the all-tournament team were Liam Wojciechowski from Williamsville East and Ogdensburg's Jackson Troiano and Stephen Morley.
Queensbury won the overall tournament.
"I felt overall, the tournament played out very competitively. We had two great non-league games. We knew Queensbury would be deep and they didn't disappoint. Cameron Cartier had a great tournament for us again this year. He is leading the way for us right now. We hope to be ready for Franklin Academy on Wednesday," Salmon River Coach Tim Cook said in an email after the tourney.
