A Voice from the Eastern Door

The C.H.A.S.E. Committee was host to the Spooky Walk, held at the St. Regis Recreation Center on Thursday, October 25th, from 5pm to 7pm. The Spooky Walk was set up outside of the center with ghouls and goblins wandering around the field. The Walk was open to community members brave enough to come out and be terrified. Everyone who attended and registered was given a healthy snack, before entering into the Spooky Walk.
The younger children enjoyed the Spooky Walk before the sun set. Although the younger ones were brave enough to walk in during daylight, they were running for their lives by the time they reached the end. Later, in the dark, there was something scary around every corner. Everyone who attended was sure to be spooked.
Many of the different C.H.A.S.E organizations helped out to pull off their second annual Halloween event, last year the C.H.A.S.E. Committee held a craft night at the St. Regis Recreation Center.
