A Voice from the Eastern Door

There was plenty of participation at local schools on Monday for Wear Red Day.
The Alcohol/Chemical Dependency Prevention Program of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe has been encouraging students to take part in drug awareness by wearing a different theme each day this week.
The program will run all week, and fittingly the final day is Superhero Day and the kids can have a chance to give their Halloween costumes a whirl.
Many teachers and staff at the local schools also participated.
There was also Tie Dye Day, Jersey Day and Throwback Day.
