We held our 10th Anniversary 5K Walk/Run on June 24th, 2018. Our participants were small, but we received monetary assistance from the community. Here is a list of the groups that helped the Walk/Run become successful:
Caring Hearts organization-$5,000

Most Pledges
1) Tobi Mitchell won the Casino package donation.
2) Susan Jackson won the 37 West $50.00 gift certificate/$25 gas card.
3) Mary Anne Lazore won the computer luggage and a free car oil change.
The Stihl gas weed wacker tickets were given to all who participated in the Walk/Run.
The winner was Arianna Lazore.
Louella Lazore won a $25 gas card but donated it back to the Akwesasne Cancer Support Group. The Akwesasne Cancer Support Group had their own Stanley Cup Hockey Board - $500 payout. The winner was Candice Thomas who donated it back to the Cancer Group in memory of her mother Margie Beaubien.
We want to thank Ray Sunday for riding his golf cart and making sure the participants at the Walk/Run were OK in case anyone needed a ride. Thanks, Ray!!
On July 15 we received a generous donation from Jason Lazore and his gang who held the “Rumble in the River Poker Run Kayaks and Canoes.” Thank you so much!
