KIM P. ATKINSON

HOGANSBURG – Kim P. Atkinson, 53, of 19 A Mohawk Lane, peacefully passed away early Tuesday morning, September 18, 2018 at the McLure Miller Respite House, in Colchester, VT.

Kim was born on November 22, 1964 in New Hartford, NY, son of the late Harold and Sherrilynn Atkinson. He attended schools in Utica.

He was a self-employed contractor, working in Syracuse for 30 years. Kim was a workaholic, and enjoyed watching football, science fiction, scratch off tickets and Bingo. He especially enjoyed his time with his family and grandchildren.

Kim is survived by his companion of 26 years, Tamalynn "Tammy" Cook Harrington; his children, Shane Harrington, Devin "Debo" Harrington, and Jordan Williams, all of Hogansburg; and Megan Burke of Florida; five grandchildren, Joshua, Makayla, Syanne, Serenidy, and Karter; two sisters, Elaine Atkinson of South Carolina; and Robin McLean of Rome; and his twin brother, Harold Atkinson of Rome.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Sherrilyn Atkinson.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
