American Legion Post 1479 Hosts State Commanders

American Legion Post 1479 received a visit on the morning of Saturday, September 22nd from New York State American Legion Department Commander Gary Schacher, Sons of the American Legion Detachment of New York Commander James Coates, and New York Sons of the American Legion District 4 Commander James Williams, among other current and former state and district commanders. The state delegation made their rounds this past week visiting all the American Legion Posts that comprise District 4. Greeting them for coffee, donuts and discussion were American Legion Post 1479 legionnaires, sons and auxiliary members.
