REPORTS TO: Program Manager

FLSA: Non-exempt

Introduction:

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Tutor will be responsible for planning and implementing an educational assistance program and collaborating with local school districts. The primary purpose of this position is to actively assist students with their work load and to engage them in educational strategies that will benefit their academic success.

Qualifications (Education and Experience):

Bachelor’s degree in education or a similar field of study and one (1) year working experience with children and/or adolescents in an educational setting. Ability to speak Mohawk, knowledge of Mohawk culture and tradition will be an asset.
