A Voice from the Eastern Door

Denise Jacobs, Early Childhood Development Program

The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe is always proud to award outstanding employees for their hard work and dedication to the community. This month we are pleased to recognize Denise Jacobs of the Early Childhood Development Program for her outstanding work and being a well-loved coworker, mentor, and friend to all. Everyone who interacts with her agrees that she is a great person and is always thinking outside the box to make sure the kids, as well as co-workers, are doing good. She has the positive attitude that always makes people feel comfortable while talking to her about anything.

Denise is forever thinking about others before herself and is constantly going above and beyond as she promotes a positive image in the work place with integrity and collaboration. She drives the bus and greets each parent and child to make sure they feel welcomed and cares for each of them. She also works as a part of the team with everyone in the building. Even though she works on the Headstart side, Denise goes into the Daycare side and spreads her kindness and love to those children as well. If anyone is in need, she is always there to help or find a solution. Throughout the 28 years she has put into Headstart, Denise cares for each and every co-worker, parent, grandparent and child that has come into the program.

Denise always has a smile and her bubbly happy personality brightens up our workplace. She is an outstanding person and teacher and we are very lucky to have her. Thank you Denise, for all your hard work and dedication to the ever grateful ECDP!
