MOIRA - With heavy hearts, the family of Alliene C. Reyome, 81, announce her entry into the Spirit World on Wednesday (Aug. 22, 2018) at CVPH. She was comforted and surrounded by her loving family at her side. Arrangements are with the Flint Funeral Home, Moira.
Born November 20, 1936 in Hogansburg, the daughter of Mose & Mary (Hopps) McDonald, Sr. She was part of the first class to graduate from Salmon River Central High School in 1955. On July 9, 1955 Alliene united into marriage with Richard L. Reyome at the St. Regis Church, Quebec. She worked as an accountant for Reynolds Metals Company for over 30 years prior to retiring.
Alliene enjoyed reading, bowling, camping at the many local campgrounds in the area, playing canasta, clipping coupons; however, she loved antagonizing her husband and telling him he was wrong.
Treasured memories will be forever in the hearts of her husband Richard, and her children Richard J. Reyome of Windsor Lock, CT, Gregory P. Reyome of Houston TX, and Christopher O. (Zeanna) Reyome of Bombay. Also surviving her are her three grandchildren Anthony (Amanda Gile) Reyome, Adam Reyome and his companion Ashley Martin, and Amanda Reyome as well as 7 great grandchildren.
Her siblings Raymond (Elizabeth) McDonald of Ft. Jackson, Mose McDonald Jr. and his companion Dorothy Bushey of Bangor, Rose-Alma McDonald PhD and Alexina Auger of Kawehnoke survive her.
Besides her parents she is predeceased by a son Douglas in infancy, and two brothers Dave McDonald and Joseph McDonald.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday (Aug. 25) at St. Mary's Church, Brushton with the Rev. Raymond Moreau celebrating and the Rev. Jerome Pastores concelebrating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Memorial donations in Alliene's honor may be made to the Moira Vol. Fire and Rescue Dept. or to the American Diabetes Association.
