What a Raquette Music and Dance presents the 3rd annual Ives Park Concert Series, musical performances held on six consecutive Saturday evenings starting August 25 and ending September 29. There is also a children’s concert on Sunday, September 10 at 3 PM. The performances begin at 6 PM unless otherwise noted. The concerts are held in the Ives Park Gazebo on the banks of the Raquette River in downtown Potsdam with rain location at the United Methodist Church at 26 Main St in Potsdam - check Facebook and the website for rain location updates.
The opening concert starts at 6 PM on Saturday, August 25 with Greg Cornell & The Cornell Brothers. The remaining concerts are September 1 - Spazzare at 4 PM and The Warp/The Weft at 6 PM; September 8 - Fenimore Blues; September 15 - Miss Angie’s Children’s Concert at 3 PM and Angela Marion (same person) at 6 PM; September 22 - KTX; and September 29 - Dylan Perrillo Orchestra.
All concerts are free, family-friendly and open to the public. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket. There will be a bucket passed for donations, and all donations over $50 will be recognized in future reports and programs. A significant portion of our budget is based on expected donations, so please consider giving. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed.
