NETWORK ANALYST

PERMANENT FULL-TIME POSITION INFORMATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF EXECUTIVE SERVICES SALARY LEVEL: SP05 Step 2-3 $55,757.78-$57,988.09

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, monitoring and maintenance of all information technology systems throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College diploma in an Information Technology related field with five years of specific job experience;

• Knowledge of various operating systems including Windows 2000, 7, 10 Linux, OSX;

• Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server 2008R2, Linux server operating systems;

• Working knowledge of desktop applications such as Microsoft office, Adobe acrobat, Accpac, Lotus Notes;

• Excellent hardware, software and network skills;

• Must be able to function in a project team;

• Knowledge of Networking protocols such as TCP/IP;

• Knowledge of Wireless protocols including B/G/N/AC;

• Must complete the requirements for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CNNA) and the requirements for MCSE (Windows);

• Excellent communications skills with the ability to develop interpersonal relations sufficient to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff of Mohawk Council of Akwesasne.

• Required license: possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment.

• Mohawk Language is an asset.
