SRMT Tribal Police played alongside community members during the kickball game.
The youngest players showed the SRMT Police how well they play kickball.
Everyone had a good time playing kickball with the SRMT Police.
All kickball players gathered for a group photo once the last game was finished.
As a part of this year's Akwesasne Wellness Week, SRMT Tribal Police Department and SRMT Community Nutrition held the 'Ready Set Kick' event on Friday, July 13th. The event began at 4 p.m. with local law enforcement and community members joining together to play kickball. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office was on-site issuing Safe Kid Cards. There was also other activities and free food for everyone who joined the event.
There was no real winners or losers during the kickball game, just a lot of healthy competition. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time. The kickball game was the last and final event for Wellness Week. As soon as the kickball wrapped up, the grand prize drawings took place.
