St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police blotter, June 15-21:
On June 15, police charged with speeding Kathleen A. Thompson, 58, of Port Henry (allegedly 65-45 mph zone) and Kayla S. Cook, 27, of Akwesasne, N.Y. Tickets are returnable to Tribal Court on later dates.
On June 15, police ticketed Jason M. Lazore, 38, of Hogansburg for operating a motor vehicle causing an accident. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on July 2.
On June 15, police charged Johl W. Benedict, 22, of Hogansburg with disobeying a traffic control device and unlicensed driver. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on July 10.
On June 17, police charged Devon S. Marston, 18, of Norfolk with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on July 10.
On June 17, police ticketed Victoria E. Ransom, 28, of Akwesasne, N.Y. and Zachary P. Buntz, 30, of Constable, each for speeding (allegedly 52-35 mph zone). Tickets are returnable to Tribal Court on July 16.
On June 18, police ticketed Roy C. Worden, 58, of Waterbury, Vt. for unlawful possession of marijuana. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on July 10.
On June 18, police ticketed Danielle L. Bevins, 39, of Massena for trespassing. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on July 17.
On June 18, police charged Jason B. Terrance, 40, of Hogansburg with unregistered motor vehicle, no insurance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on July 10.
On June 19, police charged Justin T. Dejung, 20, of Hogansburg with following too close. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on July 10.
On June 19, police charged with speeding Thomas R. Swamp, 59, of Akwesasne, Quebec (allegedly 54-35 mph zone) and Dorian S. Gray, 22, of Hogansburg (allegedly 56-35 mph zone). Gray was also cited for unlicensed operation. Tickets are returnable to Tribal Court on July 16.
On June 19, police ticketed Joseph J. Norton, 34, of North Bangor with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on July 10.
On June 21, police ticketed Isaiah R.C. Benedict, 28, of Hogansburg with failure to obey a traffic control device. Tickets are returnable to Tribal Court on July 16.
On June 21, police ticketed Holly D. Powell, 47, of Massena for failure to use a child-restraint device. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Aug. 6.
On June 21, police charged Danielle R. Palmer, 30, of Brasher Falls with speeding (allegedly 52-35 mph zone). Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on July 9.
New York State Police:
Two Snye residents were jailed after being caught with more than 10 pounds of marijuana on June 21, according to New York state troopers. Frank A. Thompson, 35, and Doreen C. Thompson, 62, are each charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class C felony, troopers said. The younger Thompson was also cited for suspended registration. They were charged at 7:58 p.m. that day on county Route 6 in the Town of Oswegatchie, troopers said. They were arraigned in court and ordered held pending further court action, according to police.
Massena village police:
Chloe Nicole White, 22, of Hogansburg was charged with uninspected motor vehicle at 9:45 a.m. June 19 on East Orvis Street.
