Position: Food & Beverage Director

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000

Deadline: May 1st or until filled

Job Purpose: We are looking for a Food and Beverage Professional to be responsible for managing all F&B operations and deliver an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will balance the operations of a multi-faceted Food and Beverage operation with financial planning, oversight, and operational implementation. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Job Duties:

• Provide Oversight and Leadership of a 65 and 100 seat American casual diners, a Jrecks Sub Shop, and two Quick-Service Convenience Store Venues.

• Supervise a management team of 7 to 10.

• Work to improve consistency between similar operations and business models.

• Actively engage in brainstorming, setting company direction, and standards.

• Manage all F&B day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines to the highest standards.

• Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.

• Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements.

• Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns.

• Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel.

• Provide two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork.

• Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Applicant must have proven food and beverage management experience and a working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS). Applicant must be up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices and be able to manage personnel and meet financial targets. A culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field with at least five years of management experience is required. Applicant must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. as many as 10 times a day and be able to spot and resolve problems efficiently. A Native Preference hiring policy is utilized for this position.
