Planning the Haudenosaunee Garden and Introduction to Food Sovereignty with Sera:sera Terrylynn Brant (Mohawk Turtle Clan)
10:00-4:00pm
This workshop will involve an introduction to issues in food sovereignty, discussions in pre-planning the Kanatsiohareke Garden and some hands-on garden bed preparation and planting (weather permitting). Participants should bring their own lunch or a dish to share.

Beadwork with Mary Clause (Mohawk, bear clan)
Make and take home your own beaded stuffed bird ornament. Ornaments come preassembled; the course focuses on instructing students in beading strategies and techniques. Tuition of $100.00 covers materials, instruction, morning snacks and lunch. RSVP by April 21st with your $25.00 deposit. Call or email for more information.

Making a Traditional Hand Drum with Jackie Labonte (Mohawk)
9:00-6:00pm.
Make and take home your own traditional hand-drum. Learn about the traditional importance of the drum and learn how to feast your drum. Completed drums retail around $150.00. Tuition of $125.00 includes material, instruction, morning snacks and lunch. RSVP by May 12th and a $25.00 deposit required. Call or email for more information.
