St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police blotter, March 2-8:
On March 2, police charged Danielle M. Comeau, 26, of Kingston, Ontario with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired, reckless driving, following too close, unsafe lane change and driving to the left of pavement markings. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on March 27.
On March 3, police charged Kim P. Sanderson, 57, of Cornwall, Ontario with inadequate tail light. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on March 26.
On March 7, police charged Brian J. Boots, 38, of Hogansburg with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on April 3.
On March 7, police charged Venus L. Swamp, 50, of Hogansburg with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on April 3.
On March 8, police picked up Brett C. Curleyhead, 29, of Hogansburg on a warrant and also cited him with unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and released with orders to reappear April 3.
On March 9, Jeremy R. Francis, 31, was arrested by the St. Regis Mohawk Police and charged with driving while ability impaired, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree, and additional traffic offenses.
Mr. Francis was arraigned and remanded to Franklin County Jail on $20,000 cash/40,000 bond.
New York State Police:
• A 13-year-old male from Hogansburg was charged with second-degree criminal sale of marijuana: more than four ounces, a felony, at 1:40 p.m. March 7 at St. Lawrence Central School. He was released with an appearance ticket. Troopers withheld the teen’s name.
• A 16-year-old male from Hogansburg was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:45 p.m. March 10 in Fort Covington and was released with an appearance ticket. Troopers withheld the teen’s name.
