STAFF SERGEANT OF PATROL OPERATIONS

Pay Band: $118,765.50

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Police, the incumbent is responsible to carry out the duties to supervise and coordinate activities of Patrol Operations personnel engaged in providing services within the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University Degree in Criminology, plus graduate from a recognized Police Academy and (7) seven years relevant field experience with supervisory experience; OR

• Post-Secondary Degree in Law Enforcement, OR a graduate from a Police Academy plus (10) ten years field experience with supervisory experience; OR

• High School diploma or equivalent; graduate from a recognized police academy and (15) fifteen years field experience with supervisory experience.
