AKWESASNE CHILD CARE PROGRAM CASUAL SUPPLY TEACHER

Location: Akwesasne Child Care Program – All three centers.

Reports to: Center Supervisor

Hours of work: Part time, on-call as needed, varying shifts.

Rate of pay: $16.62/hr.

Summary:

To provide a positive learning environment that enhances each child’s level of development.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Assists with classroom activities and experiences that support each child’s cultural, physical, social, emotional, creative and cognitive development in conjunction with Early Childhood Educators.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Experience caring for/working with young children

• Clear criminal reference check

• CPR & First Aid

• ECEs must be registered with the College of ECEs
