COUNSELOR AIDE

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the security and safety of clients through the provision of program services. Responsible to provide supervision on shift and is responsible for client monitoring within the program plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two (2) year Social Worker or equivalent diploma.

• Three (3) years experience working with women and children in crisis.

• Education/experience in mental health and addictions, certification as Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC) is an asset.
